a:design association is a not for profit organisation, which means that whatever money we do make goes straight back into helping us develop better services for our members.

Our Objectives

• Represent and provide a unified voice for the North East design and creative community
• Create awareness of the economic benefits of design to the region’s wider business community
• Inform, inspire and promote the use of good design throughout the region
• Promote and encourage best practice within the region’s design industry
• Retain graduate talent from the region’s universities
